A successful operation led by the Uganda Wildlife Crime Unit resulted in the arrest of 2 traffickers on May 16, 2023 who were attempting to sell two (2) live Ground pangolins inthe Agago District of northern Uganda. The mother and baby pangolins were dehydrated but otherwise in good health and both were released within a protected area.
