The Uganda Wildlife Crime Unit (UWCU) continued to arrest wildlife traffickers operating in Uganda by leading a multi-agency operation called Operation Ampthill. This operation was the third in 2 days, resulting in another seiure of elephant ivory (12 kgs) in addition to 15 kgs. of pangolin scales. Two more traffickers were arrested by the Unit.
